Ben Nevis Walk up Britain's highest mountain. At 4406ft/1343m and a starting point at 30ft/19m above sea level, this is not for the faint hearted. Starting from Glen Nevis Youth Hostel you will climb to the top via the "Tourist Path".  Meet at Cairngorm Hotel at 8am and travel to walk starting point at OS Grid NN 123729 on Explorer 392 or Landranger 41. Car share plus limited seats in leaders transport As start 6/7 hrs total 17k/11m + 1300m of ascent. Ascent time 4+ hours  Strenuous Full mountain walking gear, packed lunch. Participants 15 and over, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost £20 Maximum 12 walkers

Military Leader Steve Salem
Geal-charn Mor is a distinct peak, 824m, on the E margin of the Monadhliath Plateau, overlooking Aviemore. Good views of the Cairngorms, Badenoch and Strathspey may be enjoyed from the summit. The route continues along the ridge to Geal-charn Beag and on to Carrbridge. Meet at Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore at 9am. Carrbridge for return transport to Aviemore 24km/16m  6/7 hours 805 metres ascent Strenuous Full mountain walking gear, packed lunch. A linear walk. Cost £15

Glenmore Lodge National Outdoor Centre

Unravelling map and compass skills, pacing, relocation when lost and much more.  The most easterly summit of the Northern Cairngorms. Through the pass of Ryvoan and heading South to the summit via the broad but airy ridge. 
Meet Glenmore Lodge at 9am OS Grid NH987 094 Transport available from Cairngorm Hotel at 8.15am Car share As start 5pm 20km/13m 6/7 hours   800m of ascent. Strenuous Full mountain walking gear, packed lunch and map and compass if you have them. Participants 16 and over. Cost £17 per head. Maximum 12.

Cairngorm Ranger Service
Cairngorm Summit Guided walk up the windt ridge path, tour of the Ptarmigan Exhibition, then onto the summit of Cairn Gorm for views of macdui and Loch Avon Cairngorm Ranger Base, car park at the top of ski road at 10.30 am. Loch Morlich to Aviemore via Loch an Eilein. Start from bridge at NE corner of Loch Morlich to Cairngorm Club footbridge, Loch an Eilein with it's ruined castle, Inverdruie and back to Aviemore.  Transport from Cairngorm Hotel at 10am. Highland Council Countryside Rangers: Saranne Bish & Duncan Macdonald
Glen Banchor A fabulously wild walk through the Glen of Banchor from the back of Newtonmore through to the back of Laggan. Some water crossings and wet patches so wear your gaiters! Transport from Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore 10am,  Return transport from Clune Castle, Laggan. 6 hours, 10km/6 miles Moderate Stout footwear, suitable outdoor clothing, packed lunch required. Return through forest to Glenmore to visit Forestry Commission Visitor Centre. Option to extend walk if wished. Speyside Way Ranger
Speyside Way - Grantown to Aviemore From Grantown we pick up the former railway line to take us into Nethy Bridge where we trek through the RSPB Abernethy reserve (famous for the Loch Garten ospreys) arriving in Boat of Garten by mid afternoon. The final leg takes us across moorland and birch woodland alongside the Strathspey steam railway set amongst a spectacular view of the Cairngorms as we complete the walk arriving in Aviemore by late afternoon. Grantown Square by the War Memorial at 9.30am Transport leaves Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore at 9am. Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore  27km/17 miles.7 hours.
