Geal-charn Mor is a distinct peak, 824m, on the E margin of the Monadhliath Plateau, overlooking Aviemore. Good views of the Cairngorms, Badenoch and Strathspey may be enjoyed from the summit. Speyside Way - Grantown to Aviemore From Grantown we pick up the former railway line to take us into Nethy Bridge where we trek through the RSPB Abernethy reserve (famous for the Loch Garten ospreys) arriving in Boat of Garten by mid afternoon.
