Explore Abernethy Ranger
Glenmore to Nethy Bridge  via Ryvoan Pass. Starting from Glenmore Visitor Centre, journey through a pass, open moorland with great views and the Abernethy Pine Forest reserve to the old Forestry village of Nethy Bridge, with opportunities to see great scenery and wildlife. Includes visit to free Explore Abernethy visitor centre. Coire Ardair walk. Lochan a Choire, Coire Ardair Grid. Ref. NN 439 883, Altitude 600m.   At the start a fairly steep incline before levelling out to a path along the bottom of the coire. The finish is at a lochan surrounded by steep cliffs which provide a completely different atmosphere to the previous open coire landscape. Aberarder Grid. Ref. NN 479 875, Altitude 250m. 10.30a.m. for tea, coffee, biscuits. Transport departs from Cairngorm Hotel, Aviemore at  9.30am. Car share As start 9 Km/6m Ascent 400m allow 4 to 5 hours  Moderate Please take a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing as weather conditions in the coire can change rapidly.

All Abilities Ramble -Inverdruie to Loch an Eilein via Lochan Mor. See the castle on Loch an Eilein, water lilies at Lochan Mor (the lily loch), spot various birds and enjoy views to the mountains. Meet at Car Park at Inverdruie NH901110 off first road on right at 11am As Start 10km/6m 138m ascent  Allow 4 hours  Easy Please wear warm outdoor clothing. Wheelchair friendly public toilet at Loch an Eilein Bring a packed lunch. A limited number of scooters are available locally which must be booked through Aviemore Walking Festival. Donation welcomed for use of scooter. Cost £10 with own scooter.
